I’m Wes Robertson. I built The Pro Setup after years in business operations, real estate, and renovation, finding where work gets stuck and how to fix it.
The work was usually good. The business side just did not show it.
Experience built around practical problem-solving.
I’ve worked in business operations since 2009 and in real estate and renovation since 2011. My work has been hands-on: finding where work gets stuck, simplifying processes, and choosing and connecting tools that help people get the job done.
Working around renovation teams taught me the difference between running the business and actually doing the work. I keep what already works and handle the agreed fixes, then test the result from the customer’s side. That is the approach I bring to The Pro Setup.
Good work should be easier to hire.
The Pro Setup exists to help the business side match the quality of the work.
That can mean making it easier for customers to find you, contact you, hear back, approve the job and pay. It can also mean cleaning up the tools you use to keep the work organized behind the scenes.

- You see the scope, price and ongoing costs first
- I show you what changed and what you actually need to do
Your core accounts stay yours. I prefer delegated or manager access where available. You handle banking, SSN, identity verification, and other sensitive owner steps. Do not email or text passwords.
Based in Metro Detroit. I work with trades nationwide, mostly remotely, and can meet in person locally when it makes sense.
A little extra once you’re a client
Paying Pro Setup clients can order common business printing through my wholesale suppliers at wholesale cost. You pay the printing, shipping and applicable tax. New artwork or design is separate.
